Bodywork

What is Bodywork?

Bodywork is essential for health, and especially so in the newborn, infant and child. Fascia, or connective tissue, easily gets damaged from in utero stress, birth experiences, and traumas postpartum, like accidents, invasive procedures, and even separation from the mother. When the body experiences this trauma it lays down excess collagen to protect itself, which works temporarily, but then makes that area tight and unable to move correctly. This tightness impacts circulation and function locally and globally and must be released manually to restore health.

The bodywork for babies I practice is a combination of craniosacral and myofascial therapies, and quickly restores balance to the 3D fascia web. Book a session for your baby, infant or child, and don’t forget to also book one for yourself. Your tight fascia from birth is likely still waiting there to be released all these years later!
